The Bayshore Community Kiwanis Club is the youngest club in Division 34 and still in the process of developing its club style and making connections to support programs serving local youth including Boy Scouts, Earth Day, Kiwanis Special Games, OICW, Salvation Army, Tellabration, Young Life, East Palo Alto Public Library, Quest tutoring program, schools in the Ravenswood School District, child safety programs, improvements to the East Palo Alto City Parks, and the Al Julian Track Meet.
Our main fundraising activity is collecting and recycling used ink cartridges from computer printers.
Our membership is open to service oriented men and women of all ethnic backgrounds. You will find a variety of occupations and interests represented among our members. We gather at 11:30 am for lunch followed by our club meeting from 12:00 to 1:00 on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at El Galope Taqueria, 641 Donohoe Street, East Palo Alto, California. Our board meets at the California Bank and Trust in the Gateway 101 shopping center at noon on the first Tuesday of each month.
